Help – do I have dry or dehydrated skin?

Dry skin is skin lacking in oil whereas dehydrated skin is lacking in water (moisture).

Contributors to dehydrated skin include air conditioning, central heating, flying, not drinking sufficient water, lack of sleep and stress. Obviously part of the battle is to therefore avoid or reverse these factors where possible.
